The Merry Month of May

Ne'er cast a clout till May be out as we say in Yorkshire, and what a cold  month it has been.

The theme for this session of flower arranging was to use an unusual container

Enjoyed a circular walk through the fields and back over the cliffs.

In many of the surrounding fields oilseed rape is flowering which exudes a unique fragrance which you either love or hate.  I love it and no photo can do justice to its colour and perfume.

Had a trip to Filey which is relatively unchanged since my annual family holidays, with miles of golden sands and not a bingo hall in sight.
